Brief History

The Department of Technology of Machinery Manufacturing and Machine Maintenance was founded in 1933 and was then called “Manufacturing Technology and Machine Maintenance”. The founder of the Department and its first Head was the highly-skilled expert in machine building – Professor S. Vasyliev.
